Jr Canadiens Alum signs with the Seattle Kraken
Congratulations to Jr Canadiens alumni and current North Bay Battalion Defensemen Ty Nelson on signing a 3 year Entry Level contract with the Seattle Kraken yesterday. Seattle selected the 19-year-old Nelson with the 68th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
Nelson was an alternate captain for North Bay this past season and led a team loaded with NHL-drafted forwards in postseason scoring, with six goals and 25 points in 20 games, along with a team-leading +15 rating.
